hi kids -

As promised, here is my new bikini.

Now, although it is pretty cute, it isn't the one I intended to buy. See how the top part is one of those *triangle* style tops? Well, the one I originally wanted tied in the middle. This one is so incredibly skimpy and I don't dig that too much, but Cory says it looks peachy keen. And impressing the boys is my goal.

Today we more or less did nothing. Correction, the boy did nothing except for play computer games and hook up our new color printer, whereas I cleaned both upstairs bathrooms and our bedroom. I took our leopard sheets off the bed to wash them and ended up putting on the red satin ones I bought a couple of years ago, before I bought my new bed. See, our bed is one of those pillow top mattresses so when you buy sheets for it the fitted sheet has to be *deep pocket*, and the satin sheets I have constantly slip off. But I love them to pieces, I bought them off the internet for $99.00 I believe...this was before you could find them in any stores, all my friends thought I was weird for being so obsessed with finding them, and anyone who came to my digs thought I was a freaky porn star or something for having them. Tee Hee.

Freaky, yes, porn star no.

Not sure where I was going with that story., I hope it makes sense when I re-read it!

On Friday I cleaned the downstairs, and I was tired of our living room looking like a music store, so rather than struggle with trying to figure out how to break down the steel pedal guitar I just put it in the bathroom downstairs hoping that the boy would put it away. But, NOPE, the steel guitar is in front of the toilet. Interesting thing to encounter when using a powder room, don't you think? Cory also had a banjo, a guitar, a vintage amp, and a stand up bass all out in the living room, I put it all away except for the bass, and I put the amp in a glass cabinet because it's quite cool looking.

Ok, now here is a picture of a little t-shirt I bought in Pacific Beach on Saturday.

I'm not sure what it means, but I just think it's cute, it almost has a 50's look. Do you think?

I gave Cory a manicure AND pedicure this morning. We were just kicking back, and he asked me if I would *push back his cuticles*, and the next thing you know he was getting the full hand and foot treatment. I'm hoping that someday I will rack up enough sweet girlfriend points to earn something really special from him. Don't get me wrong, the guy ROCKS, but sometimes he forgets about those little disgustingly mushy things that all us girls love. He said he would brush my hair later, that was his suggestion too, so that should be kinda nifty.

We were supposed to go to Pismo Beach today to pick up my dog, Harley, because we left him with my mom about 2 weeks ago (on Mother's day) for lack of having another dog sitter this weekend when we were in San Diego. Anywho, I called my mom and begged her to keep him 4 more days, promising that I would be there on Friday to visit, and pick him up. She agreed but she definately put me on a major guilt trip. I felt pretty bad, but I know for a fact that the traffic would have been so gnarly driving through Santa Barbara tonight..and I didn't want to deal with it. My mom is so friggin' cool, I love her to death, but she has a way of making me feel like I'm 5 years old sometimes. I guess that's just what mothers do, ya know.

We went to Von's today to buy provisions for the week. We only spend $60 which isn't too bad. I made salsa today, mmm mmm. Once again, I forgot to bring back the broken bottle of Vanilla Stoli they replaced for me because their was a hole in the bag and the bottle shattered. (remember that?) I promised that I would bring the broken lid next time I was there, and I've been there like 6 times and forgot to bring it in every time! I'm worthless.

I'm going to take a shower and do some reading I guess.

Toodles!

Xoxo
